Risk Reduction For Contractors

Ensuring Safety and Compliance with Fire Protection Systems

At Clay Fire, we are committed to reducing risks and ensuring the safety of businesses and properties within our community. To support this mission, we work closely with fire protection contractors and business owners to maintain compliance with the Indiana Fire Code and enhance fire safety measures.

Contractor Inspection Portal

Per Indiana Fire Code, section 901.6.2, records related to all fire protection system inspections, tests, and maintenance must be:
  • Maintained on the premises for a minimum of three years.
  • Submitted to the local Fire Code Official upon request.

As part of Clay Fire’s procedures, all fire protection system inspection, testing, and maintenance reports must be submitted electronically through Brycer – The Compliance Engine. This online portal streamlines the reporting process and ensures that all relevant information is properly documented and accessible to the Clay Fire Territory.
